Hindsight is a Broken Mirror

Dear friend,

Today, I felt poetic and broke out the Metaphor Dice by Taylor Mali and the typewriter (not the Underwood, Maya, a different one) and wrote the following:

Hindsight is 20/20 for a good reason!

  1. I think you understand more than you give yourself credit for, Gary 🙂.

This poem is a tongue-and-cheek bit of sarcasm; I, at the time of writing, did regret meeting my ex and just…turned the sentiment on its head. I’m sure there are people who might quietly regret having met me for whatever reason.

I, for one, don’t regret having met you. Be blessed, my friend.

  2. I’m not sure I understand it. What I MAYBE(?) get from it, I’m pretty sure at this point in my old life there’s no few folks who regret knowing me, though my wife now gone DIDN’T.

So much more could be said re people that liked me, LOVED me when I helped them spiritually and financially but now, not so much.

    SIGH.
